Mad Ned Productions is pleased to offer a variety of low-cost video services to the central Massachusetts region. Here is a sampling of some of our recent clients and projects:

The Worcester Fencing Club

Mad Ned Productions has partnered with the Worcester Fencing Club for the past three years to produce original short-subject films as part of the Club’s “Swashbuckler Adventure Camp”. Campers spend a week learning their roles, developing fight scenes, practicing their lines, and generally having fun in the process. At the end of the week, Mad Ned Productions films the finished product during a two-day Saturday/Sunday shoot. Full-service editing, post-production, and DVD authoring follows. Campers receive a fully printed DVD and case, and get to attend the premiere screening of the movie with their friends.

Wachusett Regional School District

Mad Ned Productions recently produced a DVD for Thomas Prince School’s production of Seussical, Jr. This project involved multi-camera shooting over several performances, editing for various angles and close-ups, integration of live audio from multiple sources. Behind the scenes footage was also shot and included, along with a still slideshow. Title credit graphics for all actors including photos were also created. Full color printed DVDs including cases with color jackets were produced and sold, with the Wachusett Regional School District sharing in the profits.

Girl Scouts of America

In 2006, Princeton’s Girl Scout Troop 20 wanted to do a project where the kids wrote and acted in an original story, and also produced background artwork and music. Mad Ned Productions helped make the idea a reality by creating an on-site green screen studio at the school, and by directing and producing the story. Backgrounds drawn by Troop members were composited against live action, and piano performances by two of the kids were used as soundtrack. The final 15 minute story was screened at the year-end Girl Scout Jamboree to several hundred parents and Scouts. Troop members were also excited to receive individual DVD copies of their creation.

Wedding Videography

While wedding videography has not been the main focus of services offered by Mad Ned Productions, we do have experience shooting weddings and can provide several references from satisfied customers to prospective clients who are looking for a high quality, low-budget alternative to traditional videography services. Mad Ned Productions has recently completed an equipment upgrade to High Definition, and can offer a wide range of video options, from affordable standard definition recording on pro camera equipment, all the way to spectacular HD recording at 1080p.
